What Is the InnerGuidance Method™ (IGM)
IGM guides clients through five stages that make deep transformation possible, consistently.
The Method is not dependent on any particular belief system. It can be adapted across different ways of working, including coaching and counselling conversations, guided visualisation, journaling, movement and hands-on matwork, depending on the client and the practitioner’s existing field, IGM sits as the amplifying core of any service dedicated to human development.
1. Preparation
Creating the conditions for depth: safety, trust, a clear intention and the client’s readiness to face themselves and look honestly at what needs acknowledgement.
2. Realization
A structured process that guides clients through the corridors of their own identification until what is driving a pattern, and why, becomes undeniably clear. Not merely as an idea, but as something they see, feel and verify step by step for themselves.
3. Resolution
From that clarity, greater self-awareness and discernment become something concrete: new agreements and aligned actions become reflections of what they now know to be more true.
4. Remembrance
For many, an attunement with a truer nature, or a knowing already within, begins to arise. Something is remembered, restored or reset, giving rise to a renewed sense of being, possibility and a more compassionate worldview.
5. Integration
What has been realized, resolved and remembered is carried into daily life through clear strategy, aligned decisions and follow-through, so the change holds.

Hi, I’m Amara. As someone who has facilitated more than 2,000 in-depth, breakthrough sessions with people from 35+ countries over the last 13 years, working with families, tech founders, CEOs and billionaires, I began to see the same patterns again and again.
Having built a deeply fulfilling practice myself, almost entirely through word of mouth, based on my life-long commitment to greater self realization, I discovered what it takes to help people reach the depths of realization they had previously been unable or unwilling to reach.
This body of work became InnerGuidance Method™ (IGM) and a mission: to bring clear, teachable and transferable knowledge to those ready to grow into exceptional guides themselves, deepening their own mastery and expanding the impact and value they bring into the world.

As a child, the daughter of a preacher in rural Arkansas, Amara, born Carolyn, had a near-death experience at the bottom of a pool.
What followed was a deep desire to understand what she had been shown, and an unwavering commitment to discerning false reality from what is actually real.
That search took many forms. A shy teenager fascinated by theatre, she earned a scholarship to NYU and went on to appear on stage, in film and on TV, including Friends.
After several disturbing experiences in the industry, and knowing that what she was really searching for had become more compelling than the world of storytelling, performance and fame, she fired her agents, left Hollywood behind and chose a simpler life focused on family and inner work.
She spent more than a decade training in yoga and meditation, followed by five years of energy and somatic work, and a rare, intensive two-year daily private mentorship with a female Buddhist Lama, studying advanced Dzogchen teachings on the nature of reality while practising direct self-inquiry.
Exploring very different approaches, from somatic movement to disciplined seated stillness, Amara began to recognise that no single doorway held the whole answer. Mind, emotion, body and energy, intuitive and intentional practice, could work together, each revealing something no single approach could reach alone.
The search reached a tipping point in the forests of Malaysia, where Amara entered a spontaneous ten-hour guided experience that culminated in a profound awakening, followed by seven months of uninterrupted, unyielding and at times almost unbearable bliss, and years of reintegration. The experience was later confirmed by her Lama’s own teacher, and Amara was asked to teach. Almost immediately, people began seeking her out.
She began offering 1:1 breakthrough sessions, entirely through word of mouth. From late 2012 onward, thousands of people across countries and cultures came to work with her, including spiritual seekers, CEOs, couples, parents, teenagers, athletes, industry leaders, backpackers and billionaires. Over time, many of these relationships developed into longer-term international advisory work.
Across thousands of sessions, Amara tested, refined and codified practical frameworks for working with the core truths that shape every area of human life.
That work became the InnerGuidance Method™ she teaches today. Around the Method grew practical frameworks for communication, relationships, decision-making, self-leadership and the many areas through which the journey of the soul is lived through human life.

IGM Somatics includes Amara’s signature awakening-informed education and explores the metaphysical dimensions of embodied transformation support. It’s a distinctly experiential training and does not include the full IGM Certification. Many practitioners choose to complete both, with special tuition available for those who do.

FAQs
How long does the program take?
10 Weeks of classes. Average 3 months of certification. 1 Year of dedicated support. IGM-CT is 10 weeks of live weekly training, followed by monthly Q&A sessions and weekly alumni office hours for the remainder of your first year. Download the brochure for the full curriculum.
What if I’m a beginner or already an experienced practitioner?
IGM is advanced professional training, with admission by application and interview. If you’re newer, we’ll explore your readiness and goals in your Professional Clarity Session. If you’re experienced, IGM adds a new dimension and capacity to the work you already do.
What credential will I have when I’m certified?
You’ll be IGM Certified. If you don’t have another professional title, you may use IGM Certified Practitioner. Your first year of professional licensing is included in tuition, with annual renewal thereafter.
Can I teach IGM or bring it into my own training programs?
Once certified, you can use IGM in your own client work, groups and classes. Teaching other professionals to use IGM requires Trainer authorization through the IGM Trainer Pathway. This keeps the Method consistent as it grows.
What’s the tuition, and is there a payment plan?
Pricing and payment options are included in the application form and brochure, alongside the full curriculum. If it aligns, the next step is your Professional Clarity Session with Amara.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
No. Tuition is non-refundable. The program is for people ready to commit fully to the training and practice.
At IGI We Understand That No Single Profession Owns Depth
Coaching, training, therapy, counseling, consulting, advisory and wellness practices all offer valuable areas of expertise.
But the capacity to guide another person into deeper realization, so that they can access their own inner guidance, discernment, compassion and wisdom, does not belong to any one profession. Depth is a capacity. Capacity can be cultivated.
